About Heidi Alice

Hi, I’m Heidi.

If you walk into my world—whether it’s a quilt shop, a retreat space, or a quiet moment with a pen and paper—you’ll find one thing at the center of it all: a love for creating.

That love started when I was a little girl, sitting beside my grandmother as she stitched quilts by hand. She didn’t just teach me how to sew… she showed me how to slow down, pay attention, and pour meaning into something made with my own hands. Even now, years later, I can still feel the rhythm of those moments—and they continue to shape everything I do.

Creativity has always been more than a hobby for me. It’s how I process life. It’s how I celebrate, how I work through challenges, and how I connect with others. Over the years, that passion grew into a career in the quilting industry, and eventually into a business of my own. But at its core, it has never stopped being personal.

I’m a business owner, yes—but I’m also a teacher at heart. I love helping others feel confident in what they’re creating, whether that’s finishing a quilt, trying something new, or simply giving themselves permission to begin. There’s something powerful about making something with your hands and realizing, “I can do this.”

I’m also a mom and now a grandma—which has been one of the sweetest new chapters of my life. My family is a huge part of who I am, and so much of what I create is rooted in love for them and the memories we share.

My faith has become an even deeper part of my life as the years go on. I’ve found that in the middle of busy days and full schedules, what I need most is a quiet place to start—a moment to reflect, to listen, and to be reminded of what truly matters. That’s where so many of my doodles, reflections, and words begin.

If you spend any time with me, you’ll hear me talk about things like clarity, creativity, and connection. I believe those things matter—not just in business, but in life. And I believe we all need spaces that encourage us to slow down, to create, and to feel supported along the way.

Everything I share—whether it’s a quilt, a class, a message, or a simple doodle—comes from that place.
